Equity fund raising
One of the core services of the Business Support Program is our fundraising capabilities. We have various sources of funding available to our members. This ranges from private investors looking to invest between £100,000 and £500,000, all the way up to institutional investments which can reach up to £50 million+.
What we do
We help our clients raise money for their specific projects, from growth and development to buy-outs. The investors we work with are seeking to invest in a range of businesses at different stages. We work with new highly innovative start ups, through to established SMEs and large international organisations.
Investors on our database will typically invest cash from £100,000 in your company by buying shares. The investors will usually be experienced in the company’s field of expertise, bringing a network of contacts and may seek to join the board of directors.
Accessing investment funds
Our team knows that raising capital for your company can be extremely difficult and time consuming. The investment market for smaller, medium-sized companies and even larger enterprises is especially difficult and generally perceived as high risk, no matter what sector you are in.
With more companies obtaining SEIS and EIS advance assurance, the choice of companies that investors can choose to invest is growing. However, we also access sources of equity financing without SEIS and EIS for overseas investors.
How we help
- Ensure the company is investment ready and meets all the criteria required.
- Collate and co-ordinate the drafting of the investor documents required.
- Provide access to and liaison with investors who will inject equity capital into the company.
- Access 50+ other business support services designed to help you succeed in business.
